The Land of 10,000 Lakes!

Hello friends and family!

Ben and I have had an incredibly busy, fruitful, and FUN summer!! It’s just so cool to be grounded in a life of ministry with Jesus.

We mentioned a lot of our celebrations in our previous update, so check it out if you haven’t yet. So many students have had a fire ignited inside of them after going on a mission trip. Ben has 2 new videos sharing the heart of our Chicago and New Hampshire trips with some testimonies of several students we served with.

As many of you are also aware, we were looking to buy a house, but we have decided this is not the route we want to pursue. Instead of buying, we have decided on renting! We feel led to be overseas soon, so a rental property seems like the most reasonable option for us. We have been accepted to be the tenants of a small apartment in Anoka, MN, and will be moving in on September 7!

The rental market is so unbelievably crazy right now, and it was honestly a miracle that we were able to even submit an application, nonetheless have it accepted. We are thankful the Lord provided, once again, exactly what we need. We are so excited for a new place to call home near friends, family, and stunning geography in the land of 10,000 lakes (although most of them will be frozen over throughout the winter…)

Our next season in our ministry will look different for a while. We will not be traveling on many, if any, trips but we will visit some of our ministry partners. This period of the year is primarily sign-up season, and our team is working hard to create new opportunities and mobilize the next wave of mission teams. I will continue to help setup the upcoming trips we have planned for the rest of this year as well as support our team with other administrative tasks that will prepare us for a better year next year! Ben will continue to edit the footage from this summer. If you would like to be updated when a new video is released, you can subscribe to the AIM YouTube channel where the above videos have been posted.

We are so excited and hopeful for a new season of settlement, restoration, and community. As always, thank you all for your continued prayers and generosity that allows us to do what God has called us to do!
